Ben Fogle presents live coverage from the first day of competition at the world's most famous dog show in Birmingham's NEC. The spotlight is on the working and pastoral dogs, while viewers will have the chance to cast their vote in the Kennel Club Friends for Life competition. Commentary from Peter Purves, Jessica Holm, Frank Kane and Wayne Cavanaugh.

At the end of the programme, digital viewers can access analysis of what the judges are looking for in the canine competitors.

Thought he struggled a bit with the autocue at time although not being of a media background I wouldn't know if that was him or the little earpiece thingy they wear putting him off.

Did like seeing his dog Inca though, perhaps she could present next year.

Wanted the Bouvier des Flandres to win, glad the poodle didn't!
