My bunny rabbit is having a phantom pregnancy. Any advice?

Hi there,

I've noticed my lovely bunny, Candy, seems to think she is pregnant. She has been ripping out her fur and shredding everything to make a nest in one corner of her house.

She is not PG as she lives with her sister and she has been with us too long for it to have happened at the pet store. BTW her sister is definately a sister and not a brother! Grin

I've read about it on the web, but if any MNetter's have any first hand advice for me I would love to hear it. Especially, how long does it last, how soon can we get her spayed (I've read not to do it whilst this phantom PG is ongoing)

Its quite sad to think she is nesting for no reason, I feel sad for her.

The funny thing is, as they've reached sexual maturity, its Candy who has been ...well erm you know... giving her sister one, and now she thinks she's PG!"

Thanks for reading.
