I am ready to throttle mine

Hes 5 now and was wonderfully housetrained until xmas just gone when he decided he would prefer to cr*p on the carpet. It probably coincided with DS2 crawling but his behaviour(the rabbit not ds2!) is winding me up now. He has started spraying me(nothing else but me), he runs round and round my feet, he chews the carpet, he chews the rug, he nibbles my toes if i have no slippers on. if i have my slippers on he is ahem "friendly" with them.

Besides neutering i dunno what else to do and i am loathe to neuter him really as he is relatively middle aged for a rabbit!

DP wants to get rid

Yeuck - no we don't have one and NEVER would. My friend was lodging with a lady who owned one - and I was shocked to see what it did. It lived in the dining room of all places. They had a cream carpet and it was filthy.

mofm you REALLY have to have him neutered. It's the only way. I wonder if he might be a bit jealous of ds2? the running round and the spraying is all sexually related behaviour - he is courting you... the chewing sounds more like attention seeking behaviour.
time to get to the vets.
rabbits are prone to cancer of the genitals btw, so you may well be proloinging his life anyway
