Um, big?!

Have a look at this site , select breeds at the top. Leonbergers are on the 5th page. It gives a good quick sum-up of breed size, livelyness, how much exercise needed etc

Leos are beautiful dogs, but they are MASSIVE. You cannot really explain just how big one is - you have to see it to believe it. They are very friendly, gentle dogs who love nothing more than a cuddle -but there is just so much of them to cuddle. Check out the Kennel Club website here: www.the-kennel-club.org.uk , click on Discover Dogs, then breeds, then choose Working breeds to see the Breed Standard.

I have some cousinish type people who have two. One bit my MIL. They are jolly big.

Just come back from seeing some. tbh they suit all our needs and arent as big as an irish wolf hound. The breeder we saw may have puppies later May so watch this space!!!

Hi

If you wanted to see some more before you decide, go to a dog show and find them, most owners will be able to talk (as long as they aren't just about to go in the ring) or Crufts is coming up, if you can get to Birmingham go and have a look there, then if you find Leo's aren't for you, you might find another breed that might suit better?
