Tapeworm treatment in France

The new Pet Passport scheme requires dog to have a tapeworm treatment before re-entry to the UK (if I have read it right!)

Have any MNers paid for this in France recently and, if so, did you arrange it in advance (how?) or locally when you arrived.

What is the rough cost?

Thanks

Tapeworm treatment has always been a requirement just now it is 1 to 5 days prior to re-entry rather than 24 to 48 hours. There will be huge variation in cost depending on whether you have it done in Paris or the Vendee. Most vets in France are OV and able to admin the treatment, so would suggest looking when you arrive locally. Though if you are going for a long weekend your vet in the UK can do it before you travel.
