Yes, I have name changed Grin.

Oh it was like a bad dream. I got in bed last night, the little fuckers were everywhere. I was so tired but could not sleep at all knowing my guests were jumping all over me. Jump all over me they did, I could feel the b'stards biting me. They were on the pillows, everywhere.

I came down around 6am, tried to think rationally..well there's fuck all I can do about it right now. I have nowhere else to sleep, ok nits aren't great but they do pretty much the same and they dont kill.

So, it has to be one of my cats. I treat them all with Frontline every three months but one is a little biatch who scratches the hell out of anyone who goes near her difficult. She likes to nap on my bed during the day.

I haven't seen them anywhere else in the house. I had to go out today but when I got back I steamed the mattress, steamed the memory foam cover, curtains are currently in the washer, pillows and duvet to go in next (may take a while). Tomorrow i'm going to lug everything out from under my bed. (Have polished floorboards) and spray the bloody lot (couldn't do it tonight as the spray needs to be aired). Then get the hoover out.

Any tips on smells fleas hate...i'd like to get a bed tonight. Oh, and is there anything better than Frontline?

Frontline isn't working anymore. I'm not sure if they've changed it, or if there's mass flea immunity, but I spent a bloody fortune on treating and retreating this year, and the little gits still survived.

Advantage (from vets) is supposed to be The Thing for animals. Not sure about household stuff though.

I'm sure someone once told me either Lavender or Tea tree they are supposed to hate. When we moved into our house a year ago my dog who'd never had them before got fleas. After hoovering I put a few drops of tea tree and lavender essential oil onto old cloths and hid them around the house. Touch wood did the trick and we soon noticed the difference. Good luck, making me itch just thinking about it :)

I think I heard Lavender for fleas and tea tree for nits, something about citrus too.

My home is going to smell pretty funky tomorrow! Dd made me a bed on her floor for tonight, bless Smile

Ah that might have been it. To be honest I'd try the lot, what have you got to lose, anything is preferable to being bitten all over. If you buy an essential oil you can also put it in your bath (couple of drops in a full bath) can't hurt maybe they'll leave you alone for a it!

Ah bless, poor little lamb. Good luck :)
