Smart collar to donate

Last night, after three and a half years, I found the collar my cat wore to stop her biting her stitches when she was spayed. Moments of hilarity remembering the little six month old kitten she was, and her freaking out when I offered it to her to smell....maybe the memories of the vet and indignity of wearing the collar are still strong :o

It isn't just for cats, could be used on miniature dogs too, so perhaps rather than the RSPCA and others of that ilk, maybe a little animal sanctuary would appreciate it. Oh - and I also have a cat harness I never, ever got the little wriggly otter-kitten into so could post that too.

Any ideas of places? It's only a little thing to offer, but equally throwing it away doesn't seem right. Vet isn't concerned about sending it back so I thought - maybe a cat sanctuary or animal charity would want it? I feel silly because I'm sure they must have hundreds and maybe they're super cheap but it's a sturdy semi circle of plastic and you know, waste not want not.

I'd send it somewhere, maybe try and find your most local cat rescue?
