It has been so long since I bought him, he is 10 that I have totally forgotten how to go about getting a puppy, ie not going via a puppy farm. I will confess that I was clueless before but got very lucky. He was purchased from a family home and I saw both parents and it all went smoothly.
I have been looking this evening and loads of the ads say "phone calls only, no emails as changing provider or do not check emails daily". This is a bit 
to me.
Preferably I would like the same breed as I have now, as he and his requirements fit so perfectly with us as a family and vice versa I hope, just don't want to go about it the right way this time and I'm not sure I did last time.
