I think we've been adopted!

When I got our cat from a rescue centre I had intended to get two. The cat we have now and another, a ginger tom. Before I had made a final decision, the ginger's tests came back as positive for feline leukemia and hiv so I decided against taking him for various reasons.

A ginger kitten has been camping out outside our back door for the last week! Despite our cat's attempts to see him off, the kitten seems determined to stay. It's become quite friendly but is currently flea infested and very thin and dirty

Should I take him to the vets for a once over with a view to adopting him?

Yes! I would. If he has no obvious home and looks negelcetd, then I would def adopt him.

Yes, I don't think I can resist! I've spoken to the RSPCA and they're going to give him a check up before I take him in.

Now just got to catch him!

Kitten caught and vetted and delfead and wormed and vaccinated and fed, warm and happy at home with us

Might take a while to get some weight on him and the grime out of his coat though
