I had tails since she was a kitten and she was always a good cat, she was 12 years old and had been losing weight gradually over a few months, i did'nt really think there was anything wrong as she was eating well and did'nt seem to be unwell, until a few weeks ago when she started to breath quite rapidly. We took her to the vets who thought it might have been a thyroid problem so she did some blood test which all came back clear. She thought it might be pneumonia ao she gave us antibiotics. My daughter took her to stay with her as i have another cat aswell and she tended to aggrivate tails quite a lot as did my 2 year old daughter. The antibiotics seemed to help at first but then this week she started to go downhill and we took her back to the vets yesterday who discovered that she had a tumour and he said that it had almost certainly spread to her lungs and the best thing to do would be to put her to sleep.

I was'nt really expecting that to happen and we all really miss her.

I had my cat put to sleep not a year ago - he became very poorly in the end, but very quickly and unexpectedly too. I still miss him sometimes. Its impossible not to as he was just another family member(albeit furry).

You will miss your furry family member too. Its only natural to do so I think and shows you loved her. She must have had a great life with you
