We have a cat (she is a kitten really)and is about 6 months old and I think she is pregnant We haven't been able to keep her in as she was rescued from a travellers site and just does her own thing.I really can't cope with kittens although I will have to but am also worried as she is tiny about whether she physically should do it I know that a termination is possible but feel really bad adout that and ds says I am evil Any experience of this?

I know of two cats this summer who've become pg at around 6mths and managed to raise their kittens okay. The mummies get a bit scrawny, though, as they've few reseves to fall back on.

I'd ask the vet for advice, tbh. He/she could maybe spay your cat while removing the kittens at the same time (assuming you're wanting her spayed, of course!). Hope it all works out okay.

Whatever happens to the kittens, do get the cat spayed. It isn't fair on one so young to be pregnant. You could try ringing round some cat charities to see if any of them will subsididse the cost of the operation. I know the CPL is very keen on preventing more kittens coming into this world.

I fully intended to have her spayed but it was impossible to keep her in I have 3 cats and she is nothing like them She has been living outdoors on a travellers site for ages and is fearless.I may ring the pdsa although I don't mind paying to get her sorted as i feel so sorry for her She is so tiny
