Should I get a puppy or kittens first?

We would like to get a puppy and a couple of kittens but keep getting conflicting advice on which order is best...is it easier to introduce kittens to a settled pup or vice versa? Or should we wait until either dog or cats are older?

No such thing as a settled puppy Grin

I have both, bought both when they were young, a month between them, it was easy enough tbh. If i was planning on waiting a bit between them i would always say cat first. The worst that will happen is the cat will be a bit shitty with the dog. Annoying, but dont a massive problem. Other way round results in dead kitty! Id still aim for getting them both young ish though. Only from my own experience, no idea what the experts would recommend.

Of course you are going to rescue both, aren't you? Wink
