dog drooling over puppy

my mum brought her aduly lhasa apso over to meet our puppy one(checked with vet first).

Mums dog charlie went mad and ran away from our dog, after a bit mums dog was shaking and drooling from his mouth none of us could understand why?

Obviously charlie doesnt like our puppy but why would he drool?

Anyone know?

Because dogs often drool when they're nervous - it's a bit like a humans sweating when they're nervous.
