Loud Miawed Cat

I have a 13 year old cat and she has developed a very loud miow that she doesn't mind using at any time of the day or night. This morning she woke us up at 5am!

She's a spoilt old thing but we have to shut her downstairs at night now.

I don't know much about cat psychology but since she's got older it's got worse. Anybody have the same?

Must have the one belonging to my cat - he cannot miaow!

she is probably going deaf! A pure white kitten used to keep coming into our garden and she had the loudest miaow I have ever heard - it turns out that a large percentage of white cats are deaf hence hte loud miaows. I bet yours is going a bit mutton jeff! Grin

our neighbour's cat used to have a loud meow - he was deaf as a post (he was about 90 in human years though!) Grin
