Oooh, our cat has been pregnant twice it was amazing. The first time she only had one kitten, we didn't even know she was pg, she gave birth in the garage one night. Second time she had three kittens, definately knew she was pg that time, she gave birth on our bedroom floor early one morning, as Pruni says they eat the afterbirth which was pretty disgusting (this was in my pre-children days), one of the kittens sadly died, it looked like it was blowing bubbles, our cat didn't even look at it, immediatley pushed it to one side, we phoned the vet of course who thought we were barking, told us there was nothing anyone could do and just to leave it.

One thing I remember thinking when watching our cat with kittens was that if I was half the Mum she was I'd be doing well. Although I do remember he occasionally getting a bit ratty with them especially as they got older and started to jump on her head when she was taking a nap.

Yes please, keep us informed. When our cat was pg for the second time we were only certain when she was quite far on, she would lie on her side and you could see her stomach wriggling.
