Am i the only soft sod?

I am terrible if I know a animal is in pain I just saw a bird with a broken wing. I tried to catch it (even though I am scared of birds) as it wont last long but it ran away . I am really sad over this and I know some would laugh at me but I hate seeing a animal in pain.

Nope you're not the only one. I've caught a few birds and taken them to the vet to cure/ kill.

Also had to kill a few mice that are alive (cats) but have their intestines hanging out or something where they wouldn't have a hope in hell if they were released.

Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind. I hate anyone or anything suffering.

I am glad I am not the only one DP is back soon and as it could not have gone far I will send him out to have a look. I couldnt chase as the DC were in the house. Hopefully as it has been raining here all day it has hidden and cats are inside thier houses.
