Why do my pets wish to bankrupt me?

I have pissed them off in someway, I fear. And now they are self harming to get revenge financially.

First Whippy dog needs stitches. I am now £115 poorer and counting and she has another appointment tonight

And now Fat Cat has gone and grazed all the skin off the end of his tail and could possibly have broken it. The vet is being nice to me and says I can bring him along with whippy dog tonight, but there probably won't be anything they can do other than dress it while it heals and wait and see. Apparently it is quite common and is only a problem if it becomes infected or is near the base of the tail or if the cat stops urinating (he pissed on DH this morning so he can wee Hmm Angry Grin)

Why is it never the pet with the expensive, pay the vet direct insurance that gets ill?

And why do I feel so sorry for the poor injured wee things that I add to my financial burdens by buying them sodding chicken and fresh salmon to make them feel better???

Thanks. Hope MissB recovers quickly too. I'm sure my two will be fine. Whippy dog sould get the all clear today and fat cat seems unpreturbed by his injury. It looks like he has had his tail caught in a door. I wonder if his second home would pay half the bill? Hmm Wink

I have one who keeps getting feline acne. Who knew a cat could get acne? His chin swells up with pustulent gack - it's not nice, and it's not cheap. I've been tempted to just put some Clearasil on it.
