They do grow better with a heat mat. Without a mat they will hibernate if they are cold.

Ours has a flowerpot which he likes to go in.
They need water, either in a shallow dish or well sprayed lettuce leaf.

Do you know your 22 will soon be 2200 if you keep them together Grin

Giant African Land Snails can eat lettuce, cabbage, carrot, cauliflower, sweetcorn, melon, plum, tomato, banana the list goes on but always take out what is not eaten as it will go off quick. Our 4 have a heat mat on in winter, plant pot and piece wood in there tank to. You will need to clean them out and freeze the compost before getting rid of it so as to kill off any eggs unless you want many many more of them. Be careful of them getting mites (they come in the compost some times) if there do bath them and clean every thing we have put ours on coconut husk
Like this to stop this.
They love water and bath time in a small bowl of luke warm water but they are surprisingly quick after a bath we lost one of ours it had sneaked off and the was trying to get my handbag when we found it.
Keep them with a cuttle fish and well misted and they will be very happy. Hope this all helps.
