I'm planning to buy a hamster for my dd. There's a small pet shop locally where I could get one - but would it be better to get one from a breeder? And if so how on earth do I go about finding one? I have been googling but all the breeders I can find seem to be no longer in business and I can't find a proper database of breeders. Thanks!
