Scooby, Shaggy, Daphne and Fred the fish. (Can you tell they like Scooby Doo?!) From my experience of having fish (and this goes back a long way, mind you!) they don't last very long ..? (Mind you, I think the reason ours died when we were small might just have been the fact that my sister fed them chocolate cake!)

My niece became the proud owner of her 2 fish....Scooby and Shaggy yesterday. I too had bad experiance with fish as a child due to my brother pouring milk and washing up liquid in thier bowl. And as if that wasn't enough to kill them off they were finally found wrapped up in a tea towel at the top of the garden.... brother's excuse 'they were wet'!!!

I'm just hoping his daughter takes better care of her fish!!!
