The hamsters fur has fallen out.

Poor Darth is 2.6. I checked on him last night and most of his fur has gone and his skin now looks very dry. It's been going for a week, it's fallen out before and has grown back. He moved out of his house and has made a nest in the corner when I cleaned his cage out last week. He's not scratching. The vet didn't do anything last time he lost some fur.

Your hammy is a good old age and it might be an age related thing.

sounds like mites to me

or stressed

vet should be able to give you some drops to either rub into bald area or give orally

i find a few drops on a spoon with porridge or yogurt helps
