You could still ask about it in 'pets' which is still there.

Lots of people have been asking for sections, especially a dog one (myself not included, so don't shoot the messenger).

What is there to dislike so much?

At least all the dog haters can hide the kennel club topic now though :)

Bella32 · 08/09/2010 17:58

Helen - with respect, most people don't seem to want any further splits. A couple of people asked for a split, but most don't want it. And many, many households are multi species...

catinthehat2 · 08/09/2010 18:02

Yes - it's been fascinating to watch you in the last hour or so!

I never realised so many teddies and dummies could be thrown out of the pram all at the same time!

Eleison · 08/09/2010 18:04

catinthehat2 why are you being so astonishingly rude about Bella? She's putting a reasonable view very politely.

I'm just having fun with all this and don't care one way or t'other, much; but hers is a valid position?

JaxTellersOldLady · 08/09/2010 18:10

Kennel Club! I totally object... but cant think of any other options at the moment. If we cant have DOG then maybe puppy pad or Pooches corner, oh I dont know.

Pets is Pets innit? Grin

I have Dog (soon to be plural) Cat and fish. And might even be in "The Tack Room" soon.

catinthehat2 · 08/09/2010 18:18

Eleison - just fire up the "Pets" topic. THere's about 7 or 8 threads which appeared at the same time from Bella. She's plastered herself liberally and somewhat aggressively over the area - and hasn't IMO acted in a reasonable or polite way.

THere's a very good piece in Wikipedia about conflict caused by "ownership" of articles - or in this case MN topics - which I would say is very relevant to this situation.

And since MN unlike Wiki actually does have owners, I must say I am finding this kind of confrontational behaviour not reasonable and not polite.

I am with you on the "I'm just having fun with all this and don't care one way or t'other " btw.

Bella32 · 08/09/2010 18:27

Well, Cat - you haven't put your point across to me in a very reasonable or polite way, now have you? Otherwise why did MNHQ delete you - and not at my request.

I don't really recognise your name but you're clearly very interested in me. And you called me 'royalty'. Thanks Grin

Bella32 · 08/09/2010 18:32

Oh - and the point of all the multi species threads was humour.

I'm sure most people got that Grin

Eleison · 08/09/2010 19:34

(Justine, I didn't mean to sound chippy about the quote facility. I am just arsing arounf big-style on the whole Petgate controversy. I don't give a monkey's really. (Speaking of which, which topic do monkeys go in?)
