I know there are loads of dogs that need help, but this one really upsets me

I am certain its because my little Moby died due to a probable heart condition.

I want to follow his story, but I just can't help but think its going to be a sad end to the story. I hope I'm wrong

For the record, Gladys Hutchinson, one of the Trustees of Pro Dogs Direct Rescue is an absolute angel in whose heart there will always be room for another dog, long after all the pounds are full.

Can I ask a question here that may be taken by some as being insensitive? I checked the link you gave kid and it seems that this poor pup will need very extensive heart surgery if he is to stand any chance at all. Given that there are so many dogs in need and limited finance, is it 'fair' (and I know that the word itself is pretty emotive) to spend so much time and money on one dog, especially when it means putting the dog through major operations, general anaesthetic and probable discomfort/pain after the op

I am a dog lover, I lost my old rescue dog back in February and was heartbroken. I would be equally heartbroken if anything happened to my pup, Phoebe, so please don't flame me for voicing this question

I know what you mean, why spend so much on one pup especially when that money could be used on several dogs.
I guess they treat all dogs in the best way they can.
It would break my heart to work there. Imagine finding dogs that have been used and abused on a daily basis, it's just heartbreaking.

I hope a lovely, kind rich person comes along and saves the pup. That would be a wonderful miracle!
