Raw feeding? My dog won't eat!

Can anyone recommend to me any books or websotes about raw feeding? I am thinking about this route for my dog. He is a terrible eater and can go easily two days without eating anything. He hates pet food and if we do find one he will tolerate he will eat it for a couple of days then no more. Eventually I give him some of our dinner (just the cooked meat/fish usually but occasionally just a small portion of pasta or pie or whatever) which I know isn't good for him but otherwise he just will not eat! He is borderline underweight.

Hi HarderToKidnap, I'm very new to raw feeding and am still finding out loads. I resisted buying a book (as I have a huge pile of positive training books by the bed three quarters read!) but spent a long time ploughing through blogs and threads about this subject.

minimu here on mn is very helpful and told me about the BritBarf discussion group on yahoo. It took quite a long time to get on it (you have to write a sort of resume and then you get let in) but you can ask quastions on there - lots of knowledgable folk.

I also got a tonne of info from a breed specific forum.

I started out using this crowd. It's not cheap but they were extremely helpful on the phone, gave me lots of advice and my dog loves the stuff. So far the chicken and the tripe she has had no problems with. There are links on the natural instinct site to other sources for raw feeding.

the landywoods site also has some useful info/links.

There are a few raw feeders on here so hopefully they will come and give you some more help.
