Pet insurence

just had a bit of a faff with pet insuence.

filled it in via go comapre andf their options were pegigree or cross breed. my pups are cross breeds. went with homebase, filled it in, blah blah and then went to do the 2nd policy for pup #2.

noticed they had labradoodle on their drop down list. so checked that box. but it wouldnt give me a quote.

thinking i had done something wrong, i called homebase, who confirmed that they dont count labradoodle as a breed, but as a cross breed. so to check that box instead.

phew! was thinking i had invalidated first pups policy by checking the wrong box.

so anything thats a cockerpoo, labradoddle etc, then just check the cross breed box.

v v v co0nfusing.

But cheaper to insure!

misdee · 20/07/2010 18:25

definatly.

it was very odd though, as they had the cross breed varities there on the list. but wouldnt accept it for a quote.

£15 per pup for full cover. not too bad me thinks. was alot better than others i saw. petplan was almost double that!

Labradoodles are a breed apart.

misdee · 20/07/2010 18:28

they are a bonkers breed apart.

though today my two are bothered by the heat and just lounging about. waiting for dh to finsih his late shift so i can take them on a slightly cooler walk.
