We want a fair justice system where the same rules apply to everyone, no matter your wealth, status or job.

This will make outcomes clear and consistent, protect people from unfair treatment, and help restore trust in the law.

So if I caused a car crash that resulted in my passenger losing a front tooth I would face the same 8 years as if I'd ploughed in to a bus stop and crushed the legs of five people? How ridiculous.

Losing a front tooth is a life-altering injury. You either leave it as-is and have to deal with the gap for the rest of your life, or have a denture/bridge/other work that will require repeated treatments for the rest of your life. Your life would be unquestionably altered. It's not my fault you've made a dumb petition, I'm just pointing out the consequences of your short-sightedness.

But let's take another example - person A crashes a car that results in one person losing a foot. Person B crashes a car that results in 10 people losing both legs. Your petition requires both person A and person B to get the same sentence. Is that what you see as "fair justice"?

One final question - why all the secrecy? If you think this is so important, why are you so reticent to put your name to it?
