Nordic Model Now Petition which contains words apparently banned on Mumsnet so please follow link to read more details - I think the title of the Petition got my last attempt at posing this Petition deleted!

What We Are Asking For

  1. An immediate ban on the DWP putting pressure of any kind on claimants to maintain or increase their income and/or hours on OnlyFans or other commercial sex industry platforms.
  1. The extension of Section 2A of the Employment and Training Act 1973 to cover self-employment in addition to employment.
  1. For the DWP to recognise engagement as a creator on OnlyFans and similar platforms as a form of commercial sexual exploitation and a safeguarding risk and for it to be treated accordingly.
  1. Training for all DWP work coaches and managers on the above.

I saw your post or a similar one last time and, as before, I will state that you are talking nonsense. Work coaches neither encourage this work nor are asked to do so.

I believe that there is a prohibition on the DWP requiring claimants to do anything that is related to 'sex work' and if it did ever happen then I hope that there would be a complaint with serious consequences

AI Overview

DWP Work Coaches are prohibited from advertising jobs in the adult entertainment industry on Jobcentre Plus platforms and cannot compel claimants to take such work
. However, reports indicate that challenges with Universal Credit, such as payment delays and sanctions, have driven some individuals into "survival sex," which is not openly disclosed to staff.

Key details regarding the interaction between DWP work coaches and sex work:
Advertising Restrictions: The Welfare Reform Act 2012 prohibits Jobcentre Plus from advertising vacancies involving the performance of sexual acts.

I honestly do not recall ever posting on this subject before.

I did TRY to post earlier today but my post was instantly deleted. I suspect the Mumsnet censorship algorithms reacted to the word "pimp" in the title the first time I tried.
