Petition asking for Nuclear Veterans - release medical records

The following petition has been set up by someone I know. Their father was a nuclear veteran and they (the veterans) have been prevented from getting proper medical help, access to medical records and even the simple acknowledgement that they were tested on by the state.
Other countries including the US have paid compensation to veterans, even those from other countries who attended their testing "projects".
Many veterans and indigenous people from the south Pacific have suffered long term health problems, died young or passed major health problems and/or disability to their children.

Thank you for drawing attention to this. Of course they have access to full medical records.

Not for the period when they underwent testing.
