Typical DM headline blaming working mums for the problem (as per fucking usual, any kind of problem and they'll blame working mums for it).

What about childless people having to pick up the slack for working dads?

Everyone in the same place of work gets the same annual leave. No one deserves annual leave more than another. If her employer is doing that, and favouring mothers, it's on them! It's certainly not "the norm" and paints working mothers in an unfavourable light when it isn't the working mothers approving leave requests.
