Hang on, I've been busy the last few years. Could somebody confirm that my understanding is correct, in that currently the term "sex" in the equality act can be used however anybody seems fit and does not necessarily have to appertain to what biology decided for you first?!

The Scottish Government in particular are trying their best to ride roughshod over the protected characteristic of sex and to change the definition of the word woman - www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-63568047

They've done the same in this week's Committee meeting to discuss the GRA reform (Stage 2).

sadly I don’t think enough women were made of aware of it to begin with, they’ve changed things like unisex toilets very subtlety so as to make it the new normal before anyone complains
