we are being trashed by the people whose wages we pay, repeatedly. Boris and now Liz are backed by self interested shady business people and are answering to them not the electorate.

I understand your desire for a General Election, but I'm not sure why you think a petition has any chance of success.

Do you understand how U.K. politics works and how General Elections are called?

Petitions are a way for the public to express an opinion…

If this is a way to express my opinion to some chancers who keep claiming they have the people’s mandate when they don’t, that’s good enough for me.

True. It's a way of letting people know how you feel and making you feel like you're doing something.... as long as you aren't deluded in thinking that petition will actually make any real difference.

Yes, been said many times. There will be a general election at the end of this governments term.

Is there any point in signing this as it was debated & they gave an answer ? It was started in July by the looks of things - when we were in a very different position - This was started to try and get Boris out of Power.

Surely a new one should be started ?

Now that we’ve got a parliament that we like it or not is there (unlike in summer) is this now in the best interest of the country to dissolve it again for calling for a general election? Don’t think being without mps for nearly 1/2 year(July-sept+ now until a new government is created after a general election) would solve much of the crisis

The public didn’t vote for the current agenda, so it has no mandate.

Amazing. The country is falling apart and the government is doing enormous damage. They have changed their approach beyond recognition since the last election. They need to go back to the country.

Their approach??? The PM people voted for several times… who’s next? Larry the Cat? (I bet he would beat Truss with a good margin)
