Some Mumsnetters will have seen my threads and those of other Mumsnetters about beautiful Belfast child Noah Donohoe. At 6.11pm today, it will be 2 years since Noah was last seen alive. It was the last ever day that Noah and his mummy Fiona could exchange a hug and say 'I love you'. Then Noah cycled off to meet his schoolfriends to work on his Duke of Edinburgh Award, but he never arrived. After Noah had been missing for 6 days, his naked body was retrieved from a storm drain.

The police (PSNI) immediately said that no foul play had been involved in Noah's disappearance and death. This was even before Noah had been formally identified and a post mortem examination carried out. No date or time of Noah's death has even been given. The police are not pursuing anyone in connection with Noah's death, except for 2 adults in their 30s who were prosecuted regarding his laptop after they tried to sell it. Nobody has been brought to justice for Noah's disappearance and death. It is being dealt with only by the Coroner, the next hearing date being 1st July, 2022.

Please help Fiona by signing her petition against the police application for files in the investigation into Noah's disappearance and death to be kept secret. As many signatures as possible are needed before 1st July. Please consider whether you can also share the petition on social media, or/and contact Brandon Lewis, your own MP and the media. I can’t begin to imagine the pain his family are going through. Losing your child is too much to deal with, so all this simply adds to that. The police should be on her side, her rock in this and the people fighting for justice.

Somebody high up knows what happened and should do the right thing, after all that is their job….
