I have no connection with the British Army or the Gurkhas but saw footage of the Metropolitan Police interfering with the Gurkha hunger srike protest in London, and was appalled.
Some of you might remember Joanna Lumley's campaign for equal immigration rights for Gurkhas some years back. Well, three Gurkhas are now on a hunger strike because they are only entitled to about 1/3 of the pension of a British-born soldier. Please take alook at the petition and sign. Thank you.
