Signed - but has anyone else been denied an opportunity to write a comment with their signature? Is that change.org censorship?

The valid and legitimate reason to have a separate category in sports is because there is a category of human who doesn't go through male puberty and so will always be at a massive disadvantage compared to those who have been through male puberty. There is no valid reason to have a different sporting category according to gender identity feelings about oneself if that is something independent of biology.

If it's the only way to preserve women's sports I honestly don't mind if the category gets renamed to something other than "women's", so long as the rules make it clear that xy people whose bodies produced and were affected by testosterone during puberty will be excluded from that category no matter how feminine their name is, or how they identify.

People with Body Integrity Identity Disorder (this is a real thing, it is a dysphoric belief that one's body ought actually to be paralysed in some way) and who have a healthy and complete body do not get to identify into the Paralympics.

I would rather FPFW wrote a letter that we could all sign. I am not a fan of change.org. It seems to be a place for someone to make lots of cash without having any regard to progressing the issues.

I will sign it though, but think it's the wrong platform

CarpeVitam · 23/06/2021 07:56

Done!

TedsFederationRep · 23/06/2021 08:04

Signed, and I am posting the link on another, smaller, openly GC forum.

Signed.

I'm not a fan of change.org, but it's one of the main petitions sites, I think it's quite important they are seen to host petitions supporting women's rights.

Thank you, all! Those of you who said you couldn't comment @Turtles4543 @KihoBebiluPute-- did you log in to sign, and after signing click/skip through all the "donate now" and "share now" pages they show you? I got this petition link from Twitter myself and was able to comment at the very end, lots of clicks after actually signing.
