Twitter Ban

Just to let you know I got a 7 day Twitter ban for challenging an elite male athlete who is now "a woman" and asked if it was fair to take a woman's place.

Please share my petition for me meanwhile as much as you can.

Is it me being thick or is the Kirsti Miller in that article a taxi driver and not an elite athlete?

@Tano Kirsti is now old and only plays football/rugby for women's teams. Obviously wouldn't get into men's teams at that age

Yep. Kirsti Miller is quite vocal down here about trans rights. Probably not as well known as Hannah, but then again, the media have enthralled us with that ongoing saga.

I have 18h left of a week long ban, for suggesting #waxmyballs has someone on the inside.

I am wondering if we need to put this to press. I have contacted one press organisation with some evidence but not heard anything back so far.

It seems sinister, unfairly targeted to women, and on appeal, my email account linked to my Twitter account was hacked and I was suspended from Outlook. Could be unrelated but could be related if someone on the moderation team at twitter is acting nefariously. I am also now signed up to all sorts of spam with that account.

The only possible reason I can think for this is that "you were once an elite male athlete" is somehow misgendering. (To be clear, I don't think it is.)

If that's the case then saying the same thing and replacing that with "you once competed with elite male atheletes" would do the same job. If that tweet gets banned then I have no idea.

For a while after I had my operation, I was very confused. I was a bit like a teenage girl just discovering her sexuality for the first time — I didn’t know which Spice Girl I wanted to be. Posh Spice? Sporty Spice? Slutty Spice? yes because all teenage girls wonder about being slutty spice. Can they really not see how objectifying and misogynistic this is.

I also have no evidence of course! but I do find it quite odd that my email address (which is only used for my Twitter account as I am paranoid about TRAS linking email and Twitter handles) has been breached not 2 days after I appealed my sentence, on a form that I had to add my email address to.

I felt uncomfortable doing so, and it seems I was proved right to feel uncomfortable.

Anyway, I am collating evidence and sending to some press outlets. Something is rotten at the heart of Twitter.

We're just moving this one over to petitions.
