I'm sure many on MN know what PIP is, but if you don't, it's a benefit for those with a debilitating long term health condition or illness.
Please sign. The lies being told by these assessors is astounding. For example, they are reporting 'Joseph can walk 50 metres unaided', whilst writing about a Paraplegic.
I have been approved and if this gets 10,000 signatures, I'll get a response from the Government. If it gets 100,000, it has to be debated in the House of Commons.

Thank you Purple, I'm going to need it.
Facebook friends don't seem interested at all

I'll absolutely sign it. No question about that.
However who is or are the idiots who are believing this codswallop that a paraplegic can walk 50 meters. Itd be a miracle if it could. These are supposed to be Educated people. NeXT they'll be telling us that Santa can fit down the chimney

Done. I know the absolute hell of getting PIP and the shower of shit they put people through. Not to mention the lies they tell.

I despair of humanity reading awful things like this. I’ll sign and share now.
Awwlookatmybabyspider · 21/09/2018 12:33
Signed as promised.
Also if someone were to lie on a claim form. Theyd be prosecuted and hauled over the coals. Why is it a different set of rules for plummed gobbed tossers

Well said!
I’ve now signed and shared btw.

Do you know the funny part? You would think my example of someone saying a Paraplegic can walk 50 metres at interview is an exaggerated example.
Let me tell you, it isn't. I'm on various FB groups and the person's sister posted the report that the assessor wrote. She also posted his health conditions, one of which being completely paralysed from the torso down.
Thanks to all that have taken the time to sign

An ex-Black Watch solider, medically discharged from the army after losing part of both legs and one arm, was told he was fit to work. Before he was healed in any way, and before prosthetics had even been assessed as an option.
So, OP, I completely believe their awful statement to be true. Because I too know of dreadful examples.
When DS1s SM had to claim PIP when she was having treatment for breast cancer (thankfully it was successful!) she was bluntly asked “will you die within 6 months?”
I mean what the actual fuck? What a question to ask someone having cancer treatment!
Her response was “well I don’t fucking plan to!”
YeTalkShiteHen · 21/09/2018 14:44
Soldier! Not whatever ridiculousness my phone came up with!

Signed and shared! Good Luck, I hope it gets something changed
