I've just been asked by a friend to sign this. Currently the government pays all UC payments into one account, which seems to give abusers a helping hand in economic/financial abuse.
Couples can request split payments but if you are in an abusive relationship the chances are that making such a request could be dangerous, and in reality very few requests have been made. The deadline is 18 October.
