I suggest anyone use critical thinking skills and check out those who started this petition before signing it.

Is this about the dangerous materials trying to set transgender children outside safeguarding? Telling adults to keep their confidences which can result in them being at risk of significant harm? An excellent move.

Sadly the petition would need to be more specific so it's a bit useless but it's very pleasing if people are recognising the risk and challenging this.

Not signing that.

I'd sign one to ban materials that undermine safeguarding and child protection. I suspect this protest is about supporting materials that encourage children to be unhappy with their own bodies though and not liking anything that challenges that and gives support not pressure to children instead.

Not signing. No way, no how, not now, not today, not ever. Nope.

This goes against safeguarding practices and multi agency working. And as such is a danger to all children, including and parcels even particularly children who are questioning their gender.

So no. I shan’t, thanks.

It's unclear what anti LGBT+ material it refers to. The petition is poorly worded.

Why would you prescribe hormones or any other medication to someone with a non medical or non psychological condition??

can you express more clearly what you feel is:

1. Anti LBG and ...
2. Anti T about the material in question.
3. Link to material
4. Link to who funds it
5. Link to who has written it.

That will allow people to read, understand and critique what’s in offer and ask any questions.
