Why is the current limit 10 years @pipkin12?

Thought the limit was set due to the quality of the eggs?

Hi, thank you for responding I dont know why the current limit is 10 years but like sperm eggs can be stored for 55 years.There is information on the petition and bionews.org.uk, front page recent comment 23 April 2018.

I too was under the impression that egg quality declined too rapidly whilst frozen and that was the reason for the limit.

Perhaps @pipkin12 you could or should understand the reasonings behind the current guidelines so you can educate how this campaign would be an improvement?
