This young French journalist was arrested on 26th July apparently for a 2013 TV5 Monde report he did on the Kurdish fighters in Syria (YPG): Turkey considers this to be a terrorist organization.
According to his lawyer, Maître Pradel, "the only reason why Loup Bureau was arrested is because he is a journalist." He is the third French journalist to be arrested in Turkey in the last twelve months.
I have known his grandparents since he was at Primary school and am a friend of his Aunt who is trying to get as many signatures on the petition as she can.
