Reform the system of obtaining Permanent Residence Certification/Card (PR) for non-British EU nationals resident in the UK

The Home Office is currently rejecting a third of applications for permanent residency card by non-British EU citizens. The process, which is complicated and bureaucratic, needs reform urgently.

Among those not qualifying for PR and most affected by rejections are stay-at-home parents, carers, and the low earning self-employed, who are in the majority, women. Perversely, being married to or the parent of a British citizen does not help.

We need to get 100,000 signatures ASAP. Please sign and share if you care about EU citizens. We need it so badly!

Other groups facing difficulties in obtaining permanent residency include disabled people and their carers and students (including those who were born here but do not have British citizenship).

Many people who've made their lives here and contributed to life in the UK cannot go "home". Their home is here.

Please help guaranteeing their right to stay.
