It's shocking that so many families are being destroyed by the appaling lack of understanding of the Autism Spectrum and School Refusal . Parents are going through absolute hell trying to exist with such horrendous situations.
They need massive support from Social Services, Schools ,LA appropriate trained support for respite. This is especially so with Asbergers/ PDA.
CAMHS absolute shocking in their diagnosis , absolutely clueless.
Parents have a far superior understanding of their children.

Thank you Pollockshields19. Autism families are being given the shortest end of the straw. Professional failings include diagnostic failures, illegal actions of LAs over SENs (statements and EHCPs), school failures (inclusion often does not work), mental ill-health of children as a result of school difficulties, parent blame culture, negligence by professionals and in some cases, social services actions in retributions for parents fighting for their children needs and rights.

Autistic children have so much potential given the right support, some of which is free. But professional arrogance and rigidity, refusing to work in partnership with parents, seeing parents as the enemy and not caring about these special children, can result in very poor outcomes and massive injustices.
