PLEASE READ, SIGN AND SHARE MY PETITION
www.change.org/p/david-cameron-mp-saving-babies-from-group-b-strep-routinely-test-pregnant-women-for-gbs-using-the-ecm-test

On 23rd October 2015 our 4th child, Faith, was stillborn full term plus 9 days.

When we received all the results back following Faiths death I found out I had Group B Strep. I will be treated for GBS in future pregnancies, but have had to wait for my baby to die to find out I even had it!!!

I am now passionate about raising awareness of the possible risks of GBS.

GBS is not routinely tested for in the UK so I have started a petition for all pregnant women to be routinely tested for GBS using the ECM test.

I would be so grateful if you would READ, SIGN and SHARE my petition.
Thank you x

I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful daughter Faith. I lost my 1st daughter in June 2010 to something called Chorioamnionitis at 40+13. I've signed your petition for you. GBS must absolutely be tested for routinely. It's a disgrace that this is allowed to happen xxx

I found out I had GBS before having ds1 because my initial prenatal care was outside the UK. Even knowing I had GBS, I still had to push to have antibiotics required on my birth notes. Most medics (and I was under consultant led care for being Rhesus negative) were very dismissive, even though I know two people who've had stillbirths because of it :-(
