I visited local secondary schools last Autumn, made my choice for Y6 child. A new government seems intent on converting almost every state school into an academy by new legislation - and it will remove the ability of parents and teachers to have any voice in the decision. Am I the only scared parent? Second reading starts tomorrow: See my petition, please sign and share:

What is it that you are scared about?

Gemauve · 21/06/2015 22:13

Could you explain the practical difference that being an academy makes to parents or pupils?

Scared? How does this fear manifest itself?
