They're trying to get #WantMySpaceTakeMyDisability trending on twitter today, if you wanna help?

Personally I think their should be a total over hall of the whole disabled parking spaces regulations.

The present system seems to mean we have disabled spaces in multi-storey and distant carparks that are never used, but no enforcement at places like motorway services where they are desperately needed.

Death's too good for the businessmen who make my DM walk miles to the loo at the services.

Agree with that, a lot of companies don't seem to have any common sense! Also think there should be more than the current amount (is 10% the aim of supermarkets etc? I know its not enforceable anyway though). I often can't get a space when they are all full of legitimate badge holders.

There needs to be less rules and more common sense.

If a supermarket sees all it's disabled spaces are used it should paint more.

If they or the local council parking wardens find ones that are never used they should paint less.

The ones that annoy me are in a multi storey with a lift my long Mountain buggy didn't fit. No room for an adult wheelchair and a carer.

More disabled spaces on the ground floor, or in the accessible carpark nearer the shops (where they were always full) would have made so much more sense.
