I don't disagree so definitely won't be signing......

PLEASE SIGN THIS IMPORTANT PETITION

There you go, making it a bit easier for everyone else (I signed & shared on facebook before spotting this)

Have signed and shared.

It depends really. Whether the longer days are going to be compulsory or not. Or whether its a case of providing wraparound care if needed, with food / homework support etc. If its the latter then I agree with that. If its the former, then I don't.

aproudmum · 19/06/2014 22:02

Handcream your choice.

Thank you to those who have and shared.

No it would not be a choice. The rest they have not mentioned that I have seen.

But 10 hours for most adults is more than enough - children need to have a balanced life - family; education & fun - we are endangered of having a society of androids!! That's a joke :)

I bloody disagree. I want to see my children. I want them to do fun stuff after school. Not home, dinner, bed.

aproudmum · 19/06/2014 22:10

Exactly - I would rather home teach and I'm thick lol

Are you sure op? Because I can't find anything that confirms either way. Have you any links you can post that confirm this?

Ilikesweetpeas · 19/06/2014 22:13

Signed, I want my child to have a childhood. Despite me being a working mum I would seriously consider home educating if this came into force.

Hi all. Just letting you know that we'll shortly be moving this over to our petitions and online campaigns topic.

BrianTheMole · 19/06/2014 22:25

Just found the Norfolk one. I don't actually think it looks that bad when you look at the timetable giving an outline of what they do. Its pretty similar to what my dc do anyway. I wouldn't want school holidays to be shortened though.

aproudmum · 19/06/2014 22:37

There are links on the petition - and I will try to find some more
