Hello.
I'm sure a lot of you will have heard of, or maybe even used, Homestart. They are a fantastic charity that provides assistance to families with young children that are struggling, for whatever reason. My Mum signed up to volunteer with her local branch when she retired - she's just finished her training and been placed with a family but unfortunately the local council has withdrawn funding so they will have to drastically reduce their services.
If any of you are interested, she's started a petition here: you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/save-sutton-s-home-start asking for the funding to be reinstated.
