Is it "bear with me" or "bare with me" It's a phrase I personally don't like but we saw it written down the other day, DH asked me to point out the mistake and I couldn't because I think they spelt it correctly "bear".

Surely "bare with me" would mean lets get naked together ?

I think it's bear isn't it?

steamedtreaclesponge · 22/02/2010 17:42

Definately "bear with me". Same as "I can't bear it".

at "bare with me" though. Sounds very sleazy that way!

Blanchet · 22/02/2010 17:43

"Bear" is correct. As in "I can't bear being put on hold in a long phone queue!".

Definitely 'bear'. I fear your DH might have been teasing, wanting you both to get naked.
