I know I should be glad that DS is showing good knowledge of singular and plural and that he seems to have taught DD as well but....

.....even though I know it is correct, I can never manage to talk about one die.

We were playing a board game and DS (6) had to point out to me (several times ) that it wasn't a dice, it was a die.

I do agree, really, but will probably keep calling it a dice, at least when he and DD (4) aren't listening .

It is very difficult to use die. I do try, but it's hard!

I am mildly bothered about die, but far more bothered by the use of a double negative appearing on this page!
