'Disability Decimation Act' - Mayor of London's Annual Report

I was proofreading an essay for a friend who, thanks to the Microsoft Word spell-check, had managed to substitute 'discrimination' for 'decimation' when referring to the Disability Discrimination Act.

The horrendously inappropriate nature of this statement tickled me so I decided to Google 'Disability Decimation Act' to see who else had made this unfortunate mistake. I was suprised to see that amongst the handful of results was the Mayor of London's Annual Report 2004. Not only that, but they seem to have repeated the mistake on various other official documents related to this report.

Obviously inconsequential now as it's 5 years old, but surely you'd check these things, particularly when they have the potential to be so childishly amusing incredibly offensive?

Here is the link to the page of results, if you're interested!

Excellent.

Although I will always think of it now as the Disability Decimation Act.

Wow, I had no idea Ken intended to wipe out 1/10 disabled people. Makes Boris look good.
